About Us

1905 Farmhouse began and is still a DIY and home decor blog. Our family had just moved into a 1905 farmhouse that needed a lot of work and so I began writing about our updates and creating tutorials for the work we were doing to the house. The blog evolved from there to include crafting tutorials and other small DIY projects.

In 2019 after creating and making wood signs and other home decor and selling them at local barn pop-up sales to share my creations with others.

As with most other artists and makers my pieces have evolved over the years but still has a nod to the rustic and modern farmhouse style that I enjoy creating.
